Refund / Returns PolicyFive Star HomePrinters are identified by a Make and Model number. Web photos are not a reliable way of identifying your printer as there are international variations in model, and the inks and toners associated with overseas printers sometimes have different chips. To ask us for ink for a Canon, Brother, HP or Epson printer ink or toner is like asking for food in a restaurant. The chef in the restaurant is happy to help but he needs to know what type of food you need. We are happy to help with printer cartridges but we do need to know the exact make & model number of the printer. A mistake can mean that you need to make an extra journey to get a new cartridge and can also involve extra cost. Phone: 6236696 e-mail: fivestarink@yahoo.co.nz Request of refunds accepted only within 14 days of purchase due to constant changing of microchips on inks cartridges. Buy Genuine Inks and toners for trouble free printing. GENERIC INKS WE SELL WILL HAVE FAILURE RATE OF 1% AND UP TO 10% IN THE CHEAPEST BRANDS. New printer models released in past 2-3 years have chips on the ink cartridges and toners. These chips are changed every few months (no one will know when they do) and new software (firmware) will be updated into your system automatically and the Generic inks with old chips will not work. We will not know when a new chip is put until customers inform us that the inks do not work. (Please phone and tell us ASAP if an ink or toner we give does not work). When we come to know our wholesale supplier recalls our inks; airlift new chips; changes the old chip with new ones which may take up to a month or even more. Many online traders import the inks in bulk and when a new chip is changed they continue selling the old stock until their old stock is cleared. Do not buy online unless the trader specifies the chip version for late model printers.
Save $$s by blocking firmware updates. Get the advice of a qualified IT person New model Generic or compatible inks and toners may have problems. One out of 100 sold (1%) in the brands we sell. (Chip not recognised, smudging, and in very rare cases slight ink leakage or toner smearing on paper. Do not blame us. We do not manufacture these. The Same Brand inks and toners we sell are manufactured in the Biggest and Best factories overseas and sold all over the globe and in New Zealand in at least 10 or more different outlets. (At double our prices!) Note:
Most Printers should have the Black and Colour ink or toner in the printer for the printer to work. If the colour is completely dried up even the Black will not work. The same applies for Toners. |
